Fontoilet #3 – Feb. 7 & 8

I got to the event Friday afternoon, tired from riding in the car for 8hrs. but ready to get my suffer on at the third race of the SouthRidge series. I had no idea that it could rain in southern California, but it rained all day Friday, most of the day Saturday and the important part of Sunday. Got to practice all day Sat. and really dialed the course and even pioneered a double line off a rock. The usual adjustments and changes occurred, tire pressure, suspension set-up and keeping my shifting in line (no pun intended). Unfortunately, yet fortunately, at the end of practice my derr broke off and sucked into my frame and wheel, so I had to get a replacement immediately so I would be able to race the next day.
